Two Modes of the Game

Head Basketball offers 3 modes: 1 Player, 2 Players, and Quick Match.

In the one-player mode, you’ll take on the challenge solo in either a tournament or a random match. This mode also features training sessions to help you hone your skills. Keep in mind that entering the tournament gives you a chance to win a trophy.

In the two-player mode, you and a friend can enjoy the game on the same PC, either teaming up or competing against each other.

With the Quick Match mode, you’ll jump into a random 1v1 match against an NPC.

How to play Head Basketball

To start, pick the mode you enjoy the most. No matter which game mode you choose, your main goal is to outscore your opponent within the time limit and claim victory.

Try to score as many points as possible while playing defense smartly; this will give you an advantage over your rivals on the court. Make sure to aim and time your shots well to dodge blocks from your opponent. Utilizing special moves like dashes, jumping + shooting, and especially mega dunks can be a game-changer. With mega dunks, you’re sure to score points without fail. Timing is also crucial for effective defense; jumping at the right moments can help you thwart your opponent’s scoring attempts.

Keep an eye on the timer. Each match is played within a set time limit. Your goal is to outscore your opponent before the time runs out. If the score is tied when the timer hits zero, the game may go into overtime to determine the winner.
