-Checkers move diagonally forward; kings move diagonally in any direction.-Taking is mandatory, and pieces are removed after the turn.-If more captures are possible, they must continue until no further captures can be made.-Kings land on any free square after capturing.-Checkers reaching the last row become kings and may continue capturing.-The Turkish strike rule stops a capture if a beaten piece blocks the path.-Players choose which capture option to use when multiple are available.
